Base pay range
$24.71/hr - $29.65/hr
The Development Coordinator works closely with the Chief Development Officer and other members within the Resource Development team to provide support in donor and volunteer engagement and development. Duties will include a wide range of administrative support, data and list management, reporting, research, writing/communications, and any ad hoc projects deemed necessary. This position must adhere to strict confidentiality relating to all donor and gift information.
Essential Functions
Performs various administrative functions, such as filing and responding to letters or emails, in support of the Resource Development department.
Arranges meetings including scheduling time and preparing the agenda and background materials as directed.
Attends meetings as required, provides notetaking, and follows up with staff members on next steps as necessary.
Assists with event preparations including guest lists, materials, and slide presentations.
Assists with researching, building, and maintaining donor and prospect lists and profiles.
Provides organizational and administrative support to the Chief Development Officer, such as mail-outs, report generating and creating presentations for external stakeholders.
Assist with donor stewardship and outreach to donors including letters and reports.
Supports tracking and entering donor gifts, grants, and donor data into Raiser’s Edge/NXT as well as draft and send out acknowledgement letters and cards.
Supports RD Manager with tracking and fulfillment of grant requests.
Supports coordination and management of volunteer opportunities, database, and outreach, as well as other special events.
Assists in the administration of promotional materials, mailings, and community outreach projects.
Drafts and updates the communications of letters, template messages, flyers, and materials as requested.
Manages RD SharePoint for the department to ensure file storage is organized, accurate, and up-to-date.
Provides excellent customer service to email correspondence that is received through the Habitat website regarding group and individual volunteer opportunities.
Supports RD team with special projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Pay
For the selected candidate who meets the minimum requirements for the role and has 0-2 years of direct, relevant experience serving in this role and/or at this level, pay for this position is $24.71 to $26.00 hourly, with the potential to go to $27.18 hourly with time and demonstrated success in the role.
For the selected candidate who exceeds the minimum requirements for the role and has 2-4 years of direct, relevant experience serving in this type of role and/or at this level, pay for this position is $27.18 to $28.70 hourly, with the potential to go to $29.65 hourly with time and demonstrated success in the role.

Language Skills: Ability to effectively represent the affiliate within the organization and to external partners, volunteers, and businesses. Ability to respond to common inquiries from agencies, individuals, staff, and the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and the public.
Math Skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and math.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, software, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, and email. Proficiency with computer usage, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Teams
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
