Located on the outskirts of Meursault, Restaurant Le Soufflot de Meursault offers a fine dining experience in a relaxed setting. The semi-open kitchen allows diners to observe the bustling culinary activity. The food is described as exceptional, with creative dishes that are beautifully presented and well-seasoned. However, one drawback is the limited availability of wines by the glass. Nearby French restaurants such as L'Episode and Le Chevreuil come highly recommended for those visiting Meursault.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been. Great and very affordable selection of wines. Food and service is excellent. Highly recommended. Check out there bistros in Beaune and Chablis as well.

Andreas Leidl — Google review

The food was to die for, especially the smoked duck! Not sure why this place doesn’t have a Michelin star. The food is easily better than many other Michelin stars I’ve been too.

Ricardo Garcia — Google review

It is located on the road that passes by the peripheral of Meursault. Fine dining restaurant in a bit more casual setting. It is semi-open kitchen so you can see the busy work. Food was amazing. They were creative and the plating and garnish were all beautifully executed while flavor was also on point, “seasoned” well and cooked to perfect texture for all ingredients. The minus involves their lack of availability for glass wines. Out of 30+ restaurants I visited in Bourgogne, this was the first and the last place to offer only one type for each, red, white and sparkling. And, the unnecessary sass. Asked if I want red or white, and the server just pours away and leaves without telling me what it is. Asked for a digestif and I was given an alternative without an explanation.Nothing was really out of place but it’s just that small detail that makes a customer return or not.

Hands down my favorite restaurant on meursault!! Amazing wine list and Food is consistently delicious. It was my first time there since pandemic last week and they are just as amazing as ever!

Karen Chui — Google review

Superb lunch. We were tight on time because we had a degustation planned, but the waiters were very kind and took in charge the acceleration of the menu.Very gentle and seasonal menu. The only flaw, as you may have read in the other reviews, is the poor selection of wine by the glass (one red and one white option). Given that there are 10 wine coolers in the dining area (approximately with a total of 1000 bottles?) they could improve this aspect giving at least two options for red and two for white.

Alberto Giudici — Google review

Burgundy's best kept secret. Good food good wine list, and hand written bill. Gold ol' fashion restaurant. Super busy, reservation likely needed like all places here.

Andy Cheung — Google review

Lovely restaurant to stop for lunch while visiting the wineries.Great service, friendly and professional staff.Affordable food , beautiful dishes and fresh ingredients. The wine menu is extensive so a great place for wine lovers.

Joyce Dam — Google review

Great food and wine! Unfortunately we weren't impressed by the service. If it were up to par with the food and wine, would be quite perfect.

Iris — Google review

I had a great experience with the food I had in this place but the overall experience was a bit average and I explain why. First of all, the restaurant is located in a beautiful place the entrance to it isn't just clearly signalled and we had to ask some random guests where it was, once we got in, we got greeted and escorted to our table. Once we sat, the atmosphere felt like we were in a bistro with expensive glassware and a large wine list. (there is a note on the food/wine menu that encourage you not to break the glassware or you'll be charged 30 euros for each glass you break, who goes to a restaurant thinking about breaking glassware?). Even though they have an extensive wine list, they just offered me one option for white or red by the glass, which was a bit disappointing. The service was like they were serving drinks to their mates, where a single tray wasn't seen to pick up any empty glassware, and everything was handled using their bare hands. One of the waiters was constantly crouching down to take the orders which I found a bit unprofessional. If you don't care about attention to detail and only care about the food and the great selection of wines by the bottle, then this is the place for you.

Many of the restuarant in France is close on Monday and Tuesday. We decided to choose a restuarant from one of the hotel's recommendation. The restuarant situated in the town meursault. A pretty town in cote d'Beaune, a town that is famous for its white wine. The food presentation is meticulously pretty. The taste of the food is joyously playful. The chef provides many unexpected twist and turn of the taste profile of his dishes. The use of lobster bisque in the fried langoustine ravioli provide beautiful combo tastes of land and sea. The freshness of green asperaus and goat cheese. The use of local Charolais beef and pinoi noir reduction sauce is simple yet elagant. It is a shame that we could not pair the food with the buttery Meursalt wine. We opt for a more power pinot noir from nearby village.P.s. the wine list is ridiculously excellent and inexpensive.Taste 9/10Presentation 9/10Technique 8.5/10Value for money 9.5/10Overall rating 9.2/10

This restaurant was excellent. It was nice to take a break from the heavy Burgundian food and enjoy a lunch with veggies. The food was beautiful and it tasted as great as it looked. All courses were well balanced, the perfect amount of each item. Wine list of course was great too. Restaurant was very reasonable priced for the quality. Will definitely revisit.

Was a bit doubtful when we arrived however when the first aperitif arrived all doubt was gone. Absolutely, one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure to eat at in Burgundy. Modern, surprising, just perfect.

The french restaurant Le Relais de Saulx is a lovely spot with great food, friendly service and stunning wine list. It's a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal in a atmospheric setting.

We had a beautiful evening, accompanied by Michellin-level cuisine and perfectly paired wines. As it was Tuesday and outside of the season, we initially had the whole place for ourselves. Can't get more romantic than that! The service was excellent and they paid great attention to my girlfriend allergies, making sure that none of the dishes contains anything dangerous. Can't wait to visit again!

"An unforgettable culinary experience! From the first sip of wine to the last bite of dessert, every moment at this charming French restaurant in Beaune was sheer perfection. Impeccable service, exquisite dishes bursting with flavor, and a cozy ambiance that transports you to the heart of Burgundy. A must-visit for any food enthusiast seeking an novel taste of France!"

What a find. Such a lovely restaurant, great food and lovely staff. Really loved this place.

Cathi Howell — Google review

Oh my gosh. Well - we have all had experiences that are absolutely unforgettable. This is one for me. Absolutely outstanding food and incredible service. A small but mighty menu that appears to change to the season. This restaurant is ran by a couple, and we were treated to so much information from one of the pair on what we were about to eat. I had pigeon (for the first time in my life) and was shocked by how tender it was. Other stand outs were the apple dessert and chocolate mousse. And, my goodness, I’ll never forget the mushroom and poached egg I had to start. Honestly talking about each dish seems like a waste of time. It doesn’t matter - I don’t think you can have a bad plate be served to you here. It’s that good. Make a reservation right away!

Gregory Bruno — Google review

Lovely dining experience. Friendly service in English. Amazing wines. Beautifully presented food. Be sure to book! Many people were turned away while we were there.

Christopher J — Google review

An amazing restaurant. My only regret was not having three stomachs so I could sample all their offerings. The server, Agnes, is helpful, friendly and a bundle of energy. She alone served 18 customers and yet made everyone ha. She recommended a good local wine to go with my meal. I ordered scallops and slow cooked pork belly. Truly delicious. The restaurant has under 30 seats. So reservation is a must.

Minxin Pei — Google review

Quite a special place. Initially the menu looked a bit small but the quality of the food was excellent. The wine list is extensive and we received fantastic service for a busy place. The server said she chooses all the wines herself, visiting most of the wineries personally. I would go back for certain if we had more time in Beaune. Top 3 meal on this trip.I had the pigeon which was excellent and wine choice that was very unique. Loved it.

RANDY BARKER — Google review

Had high expectations when visiting and was blown away by the quality of this restaurant. Excellent produce and high level of hospitality.Loved my visit and will definitely return when back in Beaune.

Dylan Tiernan — Google review

Great restaurant with really good food and service. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for a night out.

Roald Craenen — Google review

An excellent experience and meal! I would love to return. The dishes were beautiful and flavors of each dish melded together like a spring symphony. The wine options were refreshing and diverse. If you can snag a reservation 100/100 recommend!

La Lune is a Japanese-French restaurant with delicious small plates and unique combinations. Well priced wine list makes it a great choice for a night out.

Top notch French-Japanese fusion food. Chef was a one-man show; amazing that he could whip up multiple orders at a go with a restaurant completely full of diners. The communal styled fares were a break from the usual 3 or 4 course French cuisine. Chef played well with the Asian vegetables (lotus roots etc) and sauce (miso, yuzu), with fresh produce from the region. We had the edamame, fried pork katsu with a great cheese pull, chicken kaarage, scallops, pigeon meat, grilled sea bream and all the desserts available on the menu. Left with our belly and hearts full. This is a must have for all travellers passing through Beaune! Rated top of my French restaurant list this far. I’ll definitely return when I’m in France the next time around. 5 stars without a doubt.

C. — Google review

Went for a glass after dinner. Cheese plate was good, vibe was good, but the Somm brought us a glass (bottle in pic 3) after we ordered the premier cru in pic 1, assuming we don’t know much about wine. When asked to change to what we ordered, he explained he ‘changed his mind because he thinks this one he brought us is more drinkable and the premier cru we ordered is not open’.Leaving a one star review as I believe honesty is the grounding principle for doing any business.

Danting Yin — Google review

This is a lovely but small restaurant, we booked seats one month ahead and we all liked it a lot, we ordered almost all dishes that evening but all the food was so tasty and unforgettable. The Burgundy white wine we drank was also a great suggestion by the waiter. It is definitely a must try restaurant if you plan to be in the area.

I’m in love. This place is AMAZING!!! Best place to dine in Beaune. Every dish we ordered had incredible flavors and the service was spot on! Everything was prepared in front of you, so you get to experience the magic. And it was truly a magical and transformative experience. The Chef clearly cares about how he makes and presents every dish. It was a wonderful evening and an exceptional dining experience! La Lune goes on our list of favorite places to dine in Beaune! Merci, Chef!!

Daisy de Santiago — Google review

I always look forward to having dinner in La Lune on our way to the South or back up north. Late opening and serving hours are just a cherry on top of the delicious food and absolutely professional service. The place is tiny, you sit at the bar overlooking the chef at work - it is quite a show to watch! The marriage/fusion of French and Japanese cuisine is as surprising as it is subtle and delicious. We're very lucky to have discovered this restaurant almost four years ago. It definitely deserves a place in Michelin guide.

Anna De Smedt — Google review

OK I will say what everyone else below has said, this place is amazing. We made a reservation early enough to sit at the corner of the Chef's table. And you do need to reserve well in advance although we did see walk-ins at 10-11PM. Having lived in Paris, NYC, Tokyo and Brussels we are used to great food. La Lune was as good as we have had anywhere for creativity, presentation and of course taste. Just fantastic. This is a two man show but it never misses a beat. My only complaint, which was totally my fault, is that I did not order the pork chop early enough which was prepared with the skill of a surgeon and looked terrific! A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Derek OMK — Google review

Everything is flawless, the chef, the food, the presentation art of food, the taste, the waiter. The half portion dish is just the most outstanding part, it allows you to try almost everything from snacks to dessert. We are so grateful that we found this place, it made our last night in France perfect ending. ❤️

KK — Google review

One of, if not the best meal during our time in France. Amazing service and food. We took advantage of the half portion option to taste more of the items on the menu. The Menchi Katsu was sublime, I wanted to take a dozen home for later. Watching the chef prepare each item as Julien was a one-man wonder taking orders, turning over dishware, testing each wine, and helping to prep each meal item. Bravo!

Bill Santelik — Google review

We just had an excellent meal there. The food was delicious and prepared right under our noses. Seeing a dish from raw materials to a scrumptious piece of art was like watching a magician at work. We especially loved the turbot and pigeon. Reserve well ahead!

Amanda L — Google review

This place is amazing. If you're in Beaune I highly recommend this restaurant.

Bert — Google review

I'm usually not an Asian fusion person, but this restaurant exceeded my expectation. I came here twice over a period of 4 years and couldn't believe that the quality was as good as I remembered. Both times were recommended by the locals, too. Service is always friendly and thoughtful. There is only one Japanese chef but all dishes come out at the perfect time and tasted fresh. The place is very cozy and popular so I'd highly recommend a reservation!

Teresa C. — Google review

Hands down one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. It is a very small space with only one server and the chef, no other staff around. This makes for a very intimate experience. Excellent wine and absolutely delicious food. We had several different dishes all of which were amazing. We'd go here any time again.

It has been long time I haven't felt like WOW to a restaurant and this place is IT! I discovered new flavors, combinations and dishes never tried before. Everything was delicious and carefully done.Service is over the top, dining room is beautiful and also very easy to park nearby.Their wine selection is also great, don't hesitate to ask for tips and you will be impressed that they find the exact wine you want to drink.Their products are incredible.Highly recommended but make sure to book in advance.

Our party of 4 still ranks this as one of the best meals of our 2 week France trip...and consider we also dined at Paul Boucuse! Lovely ambiance in the quaint town of Pommard. The service was superb but the multi course meal was one amazingly delicious treat after another. Don't miss this one.

Beautiful and delicate cuisine completed by an excellent service and beautiful wines (of course). Highly recommended if you pass by the charming village of Pommard

Refined but casual fine dining. The team is friendly, welcoming, and very passionate & knowledgeable. Each course was a delight. Excellent quality & presentation and so much fun.Safe for Celiacs who require Gluten Free / Sans Gluten. Do tell them about your food restrictions when you make your reservation. I had no issues dining here.

We have been to 4 Michelin star restaurants on our trip so far and this place has been our favorite dining experience so far. The wine and food pairings have been the best. They deserve a star. Not sure why they don't have a star, they definitely deserve one. It's difficult to find a restaurant that gets the wine and food right on every turn.

Very good team in the kitchen and on the floor. Quiet, well lit dining room on the first floor. Easy parking is a bonus. They’re patiently building up a cellar worth a detour - small allocations so it changes often.English menu explanations are top notch.Nice cheese trolley 🧀👍🏼And they’re open Monday night! 🌛

tkssusa — Google review

Really lovely dinner - the food was brilliant, the wine wonderful and the service was first class and very friendly. We weren't going to have cheese but the cheese trolley was so amazing we couldn't say no! I can see why it's so popular - make sure you book!

Fantastic! Incredible! It was trully a great meal from start to finish. The people are friendly and welcoming as if joining their home for dinner. Caves Madeleine is a French restaurant with a focus on contemporary dishes and wines. The restaurant is located in the historic city of Beaune, and serves small plates as well as full menus. The chefs at Caves Madeleine take care in their cooking and strive for friendly service. There is a communal table in the center of the restaurant where diners can enjoy their meal.

We loved this restaurant so much that we ate here twice, first for dinner and later for lunch. We did the chef’s menu both times which was a treat. Fresh food over several courses offering a taste of everything. Loved it! Great hidden courtyard for outside seating.

Emily Vlkojan-Reece — Google review

A relaxed dining experience in an beautiful courtyard featuring a thoughtfully selected menu and an extensive wine menu. Service was attentive though I should mention there was a lot of time between the appetizer and the entree. Price was quite reasonable given the impressive quality of each dish. Very recommended!

Yo Av — Google review

Phenomenal food and incredible wine to match. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Rammy — Google review

Contemporary dining in a very comfortable unpretentious atmosphere with communal table seating in a small pace. In April, we missed out on dining in the garden... Well executed dishes with an extensive wine cellar. Friendly & helpful staff along with a fantastic chef who checks in on his guest’s experience. A travel magazine recommended the restaurant year’s prior as a local wine maker’s "hotspot," it sounded so great that we had it on our “travel list” for a while… Reservations are needed, easily on the website by email. A large, free of charge parking lot is nearby if not staying in the city. A highly recommended dining experience in Beaune.

We had menu du jour for lunch. At 25 euro it was a steal. During our three weeks in france this was absolutely the best menu we've had.The service was great as well as their selection of wine au verre.I would advise to book with some notice, we had some luck as it was early in the week Ns got a table for lunch. We will absolutely come back for both lunch and dinner next time we visit Beaune.

Martin Sj?din — Google review

We booked on the basis of rave reviews and were not disappointed. The back garden where we ate is a lovely area, very romantic setting and they lit candles when it got dark. The quality and quantity of the food is exceptional. For the price is it a steal. The wine list is comprehensive. They were very busy so the service was a little slow at times to get attention but the food came out at perfect pace. It is a real hidden gem and would definitely go back. The food was so good forgot to take photos! Only got a couple

Felicity Pritchard-witts — Google review

The place is amazing. Had lunch on Monday and Thursday as reservations for dinner are hard to get. The quality of food and service is hard to believe for the set price. Wine list is extraordinary.Arrived for the second lunch to be greeted warmly by the same staff who remembered exactly the food and the wine we had 3 days prior. Incredible service. Seems to be a family place, as the young son who just finished his lunch brought over a side dish with what looks to be his sister.Couldn’t recommend more highly. The fish was excellent and my first time having beef tongue with lentils.

RANDY BARKER — Google review

Food was excellent and the wine list is extensively impressive. I liked the simplicity of menu, and well executed dishes. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions for wines.

Christine Tse — Google review

We enjoyed our first dinner in Beaune at Cave Madeleine and everything was perfect. We sat at a quaint table for two in the window. Service was warm and attentive. The wine list is huge. We chose the Chef’s tasting menu and the food was delicious; oyster, beets, leeks, rabbit, fish, chicken, a decadent dessert and fresh bread. Great value, and a great sampling of gourmet, local, freshly prepared foods. I highly recommend, but do plan ahead with a reservation.

La Maison du Colombier is a wine bar located in Beaune, France. The menu focuses on charcuterie, cheese and tapas with many wines by the glass. The restaurant has 16th century décor with candlelight for a cosy evening out.

Amazing, intricate flavours for the price given. Loved their l’oeufs de truffle (65° eggs). as a japanese cuisine enjoyer I must say this dish is fused to perfection with both japanese and french elements. The onions reminded me of the gyu-don base from 吉野家 and the eggs were perfect onsen eggs with good mix of flavours from the cream and truffle. not so overwhelming. generous amount of truffle given the price. Also a good selection / quality of cheese from charcuterie board. Would def come back to try their tapas.

DO NOT STAY HERE— YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT THEY DID…We showed up to check into our room and called the number on the door. They gave us the combo to enter one of their rooms and someone was already staying in the room! They not only double booked, but gave us the combo without any confirmation number or anything. They did refund our “night stay” but that was it.If they wanted to make this situation right, they’d reach out and cover our night stay at another hotel that wasn’t easy to find this particular night. If I could, zero stars would be more appropriate. Scary to think about how they handle their guests.

Maison de Colombier a perfect location to enjoy fabulous wines and champagnes. They have a huge selection of the wine and champagnes. Food & wine pairing is possible. Just ask them and they will take care of you right away!! Food is more tapas like but well presented and simply delicious. The rooms are quiet nice and the bed confortable. The service overall is really good, so I will love to come back for another stay or drink. Thanks & cheers

Wonderful! Made reservations for a Thursday night at 8 and when we got there it was pretty busy already. We got to sit out on the patio and some of the people coming after us without reservations had to sit inside. They had menus in French and English which I would usually find to be a turnoff for a restaurant but it in this case it was not the case! I ordered the eggs with truffles and my bf ordered the beef tartare. We were both extremely happy. The egg dish came with the eggs and were served in this creamy sauce with a bunch of truffles shaved on top and crunchy croutons. Deliciously decadent! Ended with the apricot pie with honey and lavender. Floral flavors in dishes are always hit or miss for me but my bf liked it and it had a lot of apricot in it too.I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try interesting, authentic French cuisine in a beautiful setting.

The 1866 hotel, Le Chevreuil, offers modest accommodations with a touch of authenticity. Its rooms are uncomplicated and retain some original elements. The hotel boasts a sophisticated restaurant that includes an outdoor seating area for dining al fresco. Guests can choose from various menus at different fixed prices, all of which offer enticing options. Additionally, the establishment prides itself on its extensive selection of wines.

We had a light lunch here in the bar. Great food. Cheese plate was great. Mini pizza was unique and tasting amazing. They serve Meursault by the glass and it was a really good one. Nice service. We felt that the bar was a fantastic value, surprisingly not crowded. Perfect for us.

Die Zimmer wurden sauber gereinigt.(Translated by Google)The arrival was a bit bumpy due to a lack of common languages and little desire to understand me: the young day receptionist didn't speak English and was a bit irritable. The rooms were booked 'with a connecting door or next to each other', but were as far apart as possible, absolutely inconvenient for caring for a minor. Room 1 was also ice cold, located on the street side above the house entrance with the stairs on the inside and extremely unfortunate for all guests walking past. You can also hear every telephone ringing, but an exchange could only be discussed at 6 p.m., which was not possible after a 17 km hike with a child and 3 dogs was open to discussion; but it was the newly renovated, more spacious 'dog room' with linoleum floors and a modern bathroom. So I acquiesced and quickly became happy about this heater! (Room 6 was extremely small and the shower had a curtain instead of a door). On the second day there was no heating or hot water during the day, but at least in the sink in the evening and this great heating again in the evening! I also used her to heat the bathroom, but unfortunately the new fan heater didn't work. The evening cast was top, and the evening menu was a dream: the amuse geule potato soup with chips, great bread rolls to choose from, then legume veloutée, tuna or veal, caramelized apple tart with ice cream ball or three kinds of cheese with another bread. Everything is a poem! The service from both gentlemen was a pleasure! The interior decoration in the restaurant is stylish: everything is full of deer and deer, like the name of the hotel, an interesting pastime with the entrée or between the individual courses. The hot water for the thermos flask for tea in the room and the hot water bottle for bed were easy. Thanks again to the evening lady! The breakfast without eggs and muesli (cannot be ordered) was a bit clear, but the ham, sausage and natural yogurt were of good quality. I would have liked to have an extra plate or two for my bread, there was little space on the plate and it was wet from my fruit. The rooms were cleaned cleanly.

La Superb is a fabulously French restaurant with some of the best food and wine in town. The chef is superb, and the setting is beautiful. It's a great place to enjoy a romantic meal or catch up with friends.

Excellent dining experience. We were on a tour and stopped at Beaune for a lunch break. We are lucky as we did not make reservation. The restaurant is small, probably 20 - 25 seats but cozy and enough privacy between table/ counter. The wine recommendation is also fanstatic!

LaSuperB provided us with an exceptional dining experience. From the ripe cherry tomatoes with burrata basil whipped cream to the delightful salmon with lemon curd, and the heavenly pavlova with raspberry coulis, each dish was a testament to their culinary prowess. The evening marked the opening of our wine pilgrimage, and LaSuperB graciously invited us to savor the meal in communal harmony. The act of enjoying food as a spiritual practice was truly embraced here.We were captivated by the inviting atmosphere and would wholeheartedly recommend LaSuperB to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Leaving a positive Google review is a small gesture to express our gratitude for their culinary excellence!

EDIT FOLLOWING OWNER RESPONSE: downgrading to 1*. Very defensive, insulting a customer who only meant to provide constructive feedback for the restaurant to get better by improving service. And yes, I suspect a machine at McDonald’s would probably provide a better service than this restaurant (even if I don’t eat at McDonald’s…).===Good food, but poor service and unfriendly welcome overall - no smile, no description of dishes (just put in front of you with not a word uttered), no “how was your meal?” at the end. Also, it would be very convenient to write the lunch menu on a blackboard for customers to review (vs. just reading it from scribbled notes).Les plats sont bons, mais l’accueil est glacial - pas un sourire, aucune description des plats lors du service, aucun «votre repas vous a plu?», et menu déjeuner écrit nulle part (décrit verbalement à partir d’une petite feuille). Quel dommage!

Henry Hugon — Google review

The (lone) chef is a true artist! Had the accidental pleasure of sitting at the chefs table, where it was visible how the chef prepared by himself all perfectly cooked meals, all by instinct using no timers. All dishes were a masterpiece, but the mussels were the best ever in terms of taste and doneness.

Andre Tan — Google review

This was such a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend you don't miss this place. We made a reservation a few weeks in advance and were not disappointed. The best seat in the house was at the counter where we got to witness the chef in action. He is a true master and the technique and flair with which he cooked were so fun to watch. You definitely should make reservations as you don't want to miss this experience. I would try to get a seat where you can watch the chef. The wine list was amazing and the selection of food was perfect. Be ready when you enter the restaurant as you might be treated to an amuse-bouche as we were and it was amazing. It was something like liquid parmesan cheese and just exploded with incredible flavors in your mouth. The lady who I believe was his wife was so helpful in assisting us in selecting our meal along with some wine selections. There was also a younger gentleman who was very attentive and had excellent input on our selections and wine choices as well so the combination was perfect. It was the best way to experience a true French meal from an incredible chef.

We had a lovely dinner. The food was amazing. We sat at the bar and got to watch the chef prepare everything to perfection. The food coming out looked so delicious that we ordered the croque for “dessert” (in addition to the lemon pudding). We do not speak any French so there was a bit of a language barrier, but the host and chef were helpful and accommodating.

Koki is a sushi conveyor belt style Japanese restaurant with an excellent selection of dishes that are freshly prepared and constantly topped. The conveyor belt is always full, even with a full restaurant, and the prices are very reasonable. It would be a great place to visit for a casual meal.

Perhaps a strange thing to have in Beaune but it was pretty good. It’s a set price for all you can eat which will get you in trouble as the flavors are good and there is plenty of options on the sushi train. Had a good Chablis to wash it down.

RANDY BARKER — Google review

Came here because of the high reviews1. It’s not Japanese & far from authentic, choices r limited for this all you can eat buffet. The sushi rice falls apart, the fishes r dry, there are stuffs that are not Japanese on the buffet…It’s kinda Chinese food with bad sushi.2. The hostess is extremely rude & impolite. From coming in to the resto until we left. Even when she explains something and asked to repeat she has angry intonation.I regret not reading all the bad reviews and apparently many complaints have been made to the hostess & reading her offensive response to the negative posts concluded her rudeness towards customersA place to avoid for meal in Beaune & It gives sushi a bad rep & the hostess made the whole experience worse.

If you're looking for a delicious meal in Beaune, then head to Le Bistro de L'Hôtel. The restaurant is attached to the hotel and is open to the public. They offer a variety of dishes, including some favourites like the chefs tasting and the Bourgogne oeuf. The food and service are both excellent, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal while in town.

Fabulous meal! Amazing service and extremely voluminous wine menu. The waiters were always attentive. We came for the bresse chicken and it was definitely worth it. The patio was lovely.

Lisa Thai — Google review

Excellent spot for an elevated French meal! The atmosphere was lovely, service top-notch and the dishes were your classic French comfort food. If you're there to try the chicken (seemed like everyone was) but don't want the eyes on you for the tableside carving, there is another chicken dish on the menu that was delicious and just as good-looking as the other diner's full bird. The tableside flambé for the Grand Marnier crepes was pretty cool though! The wine list is one of the most extensive we saw on our entire 2 week trip. Highly recommend!

Kelsey Dugan — Google review

We made the booking by stopping by in person while only the pizza place attached next door was open. I thought for sure they would say “just call back later” but the guy at the pizza place walked out, around the corner and in to the closed restaurant to get the bookings register to take our reservation. We ordered the chefs tasting and a bottle of wine. They did a spin on the Bourgogne oeuf by serving it with a heap of truffles and the Bresse chicken was whole roasted and carved tableside, quite spectacular. The crepe Suzette was also flambeed tableside. Best combination of food and service we received over four days eating in Beaune. I would go back once on every visit.

Mike “pilam99” L — Google review

The Bresse whole roast chicken was easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten. With plenty to share between two of us, the chicken was carved at the table and served in it's own juices. A totally unique flavour.

James Garman — Google review

Ok. This is a must visit restaurant if you are into classic Burgundy cuisine. The food is fantastic and the wine list makes you drool just to peruse it. Dining here is not inexpensive but oh is it worth the splurge. The Bresse chicken for 2ppl is the single greatest chicken dish I have ever tasted. It is carved tableside with such mastery that it looks like you are watching a video played back in high speed. As appetizers we had White Asparagus and Snails; for entrees the Charolais Côte de Boeuf (for 2) and Poulet de Bresse (for 2). The beef was great but GET THE BRESSE. Really.

Antonio Gianola — Google review

The restaurant was recommended by several people/lists but it was a disappointment. The dishes are mostly plain and "boring", even such basic thing as mashed potato is tasteless. There are much better gourmet restaurants around and also family owned bistros in town with simple but tasty local food (and the price there is ~1/3 of Le Bistro). Bottom line - not recommended.

Igor Bakman — Google review

One of the best dinners me and my wife have ever experienced. Simply exquisite! I highly recommend going with the chicken despite the higher price you will not regret it!

Jacob Hovey — Google review

Careful with taking lunch on the terrace, even out of season. It’s extremely expensive, you won’t believe how little you get for 22€ (half small chicken, nothing on the side) or 18€ (a very lean version of “Caesar Salad”). Service was very friendly but only one person for the whole terrace… Location is nice, otherwise I cannot recommend.

Terrible service - don't waste your time here with so many better choices nearby! The owner clearly doesn't care about customers or being nice ("eat, now pay & get out!"). Place was almost empty and he was "very busy" sharing a bottle with his friends at another table...We asked for suggestions on the wine list and he literally replied "Pick whatever, I don't have 1 hour to waste...". In a wine bar!!!So we just ordered a salad and a glass of wine and felt so unwelcome that we left to have dinner somewhere else ("Caves de la Madeleine", next door), where we had a super nice evening!tl;dr: salad was ok and the wine selection is great, too bad the owner has zero interest in his non-local customers.

Christian Brenes — Google review

While the wine shop part might deserve 4 or even 5 stars, the restaurant certainly does not. The food is good, but quite overpriced for what you get. Especially today's meal of the day was an example for this: Porc meat of a quality that is definitely not keeping up with what I am used from restaurants in France for a solid 28€. The charcuterie was surely good but also nothing that we found for a considerably lower price elsewhere. The wine selection was excellent. Service friendly and welcoming.

Gregor Jakob — Google review

Really have no idea how this restaurant has positive reviews. We should have taken notice of several warning signs and left before having a terrible, overpriced meal.1. Out of perhaps 20 people in the restaurant, very few were French2. I ordered a 2015 (good vintage) wine only to have the proprietor, after going to his cave, bringing a 2016 vintage and telling me that it was comparable3. The menu had only one choice for a plat4. One of the two page menu was devoted to advertising canned goods that they had for saleThe restaurant advertises itself as being farm to table. The haricot salad appeared to contain canned beans that were for sale in the restaurant - in addition to 1/2 of the menu being devoted to advertising canned goods for sale, one wall of the restaurant had the goods on display. Further, most of these products were canned sardines, etc from Portugal and SpainThe one main dish on the menu, confit canard, was too salty to eat and we left about half. Our experience in eating in small restaurants in France is that the proprietors will ask you if everything is good. In this case, even though we left a large amount of food on the plate, the owner never asked whether we liked the food. After paying, I told him that I was going to write a negative review and he did not seem to care. There are many excellent restaurants in Bourgogne, do not waste your money on this place

Extremely Disappointed service. (the waiter with big 🧔‍♂️ beards was really nice. Apologize for not remembering your name). Our flight got delayed and we sent email to notify the restaurant hours in advance. After 17hours flight, We rushed from Paris to the restaurant And we were really sorry about it. (So we ate really fast and was not the last one left the restaurant) However, one of the waiters was poker face for the whole night. Showed he’s greatest reluctance to us. Not willing to answer any questions, make large noise while was placing the plates etc. serving people like he’s going to punch them in their face the next second The worst service I’ve ever expected. when came to wine serving, we were so shocked that he basically pour more than half glass…what a waste man! We were not there for binge drinking! We requested if he could pour less for the next round, he’s face turned double poker 🙂 Food was soso. The scallops are more too salty. As we didn’t have the breads, we asked politely if we could pack it and take away to avoid food waste. That waiter just took the plates and threw the bread on the table and told us we can bring it home. Oh well. Thank you for your hospitality. This is my first time ever complained about anyone right away in a restaurant. Would never recommend this place to anyone as long as the guy still works there. Thanks.

Great restaurant with friendly owners and a talented chef.Fine dining cuisine with a focus on fromage with dishes designed to fill you and not leave one hungry (as can all too often be the case with fine dining). The food was of a very high quality and the staff were attentive and friendly with certain staff members being able to converse comfortably in both french and english. Unfortunately my French is non-existent, something to rectify. The drinks menu is was comprehensive with a large focus placed on wines but with juices and a small selection of soft drinks also available. The primary dishes at the time of veal or seared tuna were both delectable and can be recommended on preference. There is an elevator available for wheelchair access, outdoor couch seating is available for comfort and the surrounding greenery is stunning.Would only recommend soft music for ambience.

Located in Mersault, just a short distance from The Burgundy Wine Road, Hôtel - Restaurant Les Hauts de Meursault is a vibrant and relaxed hotel that offers an array of colorful rooms. With its dining options and wine bar, guests can indulge in delicious meals and drinks. This laid-back hotel also provides convenient amenities such as loaner bikes and free WiFi for guests to enjoy.

Last weekend, I had an amazing stay at Hotel Les Hauts de Meursault. The location amidst vineyards was stunning, offering a peaceful escape. The rooms were comfortable, and the dining experience was exceptional at their sister restaurant Le Globe in Meursault. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry I had.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Meursault. Thank you to the entire team for a fantastic experience!

Very uncomfortable beds which are really small. Even as petit woman my feet were off the end of bed. Cheap thin bed linen and very dated bathrooms. Room overlooking noisy air con unit. Good location to Meursault and relatively cheap but is very basic and I’m glad we only stayed one night as brief road trip stopover

Alys Lewis — Google review

Good food and friendly staff. Great place for a stop when on tour

David — Google review

Small rooms, only one single power socket in the whole room, hot in the summer with no way to ventilate or open a window unless you leave the door window open, which leaves a direct view between your bed and the parking. Also zero ventilation in the bathroom. The way the rooms are located, this is more a motel, not a hotel. Can't comment on the restaurant, we didn't eat there, but I hear it's good.

Serge van Ginderachter — Google review

Normally, I never leave reviews, however, this time I feel the need to clarify Viola Tax and Trudina's (same person) review. She came to the restaurant with a group of people without making a reservation. The staff kindly informed her that the restaurant was unfortunately fully booked. She didn't believe them and accused them of not being welcoming. She came back for a glass of (free) water and was incredibly cordially served, even after she threatened to leave a negative review on the internet.I find it extremely disgraceful to harm hardworking entrepreneurs in this way. Hence, this review. We had an incredibly delicious meal and were treated very kindly. It's shameful that people try to damage businesses in this manner. We had dinner there and the restaurant was indeed fully booked.

Bumba Walravens — Google review

Nice hotel for a stop on the way to the south of France. Food was good and they also had local wines. Rooms were decent. Scenic location, good for an evening stroll.

L. van Es — Google review

The restaurant is wonderful. We came late on a Sunday night (after 9) and they were very happy to allow us to have some charcuterie and wine - even though the kitchen was closed. Definitely a must and where we will be back many times!

I have stay one night in this hotel. The bed is very inconfortable and have maybe 40 years old. Impossible to sleep. The bathroom is also very bad.I have informed the direction, apparently I m the first to explain this. LOL.Very bad experience

The hotel looks fine in the photo. Nicely decorated, modern and neat. Unfortunately the truth is different... the rooms are small, damp and not clean. The toilet leaked and a container had been placed underneath, which we had to empty several times... It is well photographed, which makes it look nicer than it is. The only thing pleasant and fun is the restaurant. You can eat there for a good price.

Veroniek van der Schoot — Google review

We went with a group of 10 to the restaurent. Very friendly and welcoming service. Good food, especially the beef, for reasonable prices. Good local wines. Value for money with beautiful view over the bourgogne.

Luke Middelburg — Google review

Vriendelijk personeel.(Translated by Google)Nice spot for a room below par, looked like a garage. The hotel itself was nicely decorated with an eye for detail (a collector of unique plates and items) and the breakfast was excellent, including delicious fresh orange juice. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but it looked very nice and was busy. Friendly staff.

Restaurant

Restaurant @ HOTEL LE GLOBE offers a delightful dining experience with its diverse selection of two, three, or four courses for lunch. The cold Zucchini cream stands out as an exceptional starter that serves as an inspiration for one's own cooking endeavors. Enhancing the meal perfectly is a small bottle of Mersault from their wine cellar. This restaurant truly excels in providing exquisite food and impeccable service. It is highly recommended for those seeking quality dining experiences.

OUTSTANDING restaurant. Michelin star stuff.

Neil Willetts — Google review

We didnt stay in hotel but had dinner here. Service is ok but food is very bad. Starter is duck which was very sour. Beef and lamb as main courses which are bad as well- seems like have some mince meat as well. Overall the food is not worth the price and it does’t taste nice at all. Very disappointed as we drive quite far to have the dinner

Nicole Guo — Google review

The restaurant is nice and the service is good but the food is not great. It looks really good but it doesn’t taste so great. It’s an instagram food with creative design but flavors that are not necessarily going together on the plate. We did the 75 euros menu to try as much as possible. Probably the highlight was the scallop.

Yossi L — Google review

Lovely restaurant with excellent service and wonderful food and wine.

Anita Marsh — Google review

This is a review for the restaurant. I'd call this an Instagram menu - everything comes out looking beautiful and very carefully put together, but flavor is mediocre at best, often items that do not go together appear on the same plate probably because it pleased someone's esthetics.Service by Mohamed was very patronizing throughout the evening which made the whole ordeal even worse. We spent 7 days in France, from fancy michelin star restaurants to unassuming cafes and bistros. This restaurant was the worst meal of the trip.

Anat L — Google review

We didn't stay at the hotel but had lunch at the restaurant. The quality was excellent, the service very professional. You don't find easily this quality for a 27euros lunch! I loved everything of it !

Thierry Branger — Google review

Second time here for lunch. Really good food, good price point, and generally nice restaurant. Staff is really nice, but their English not great, so had to find my broken French :)

Jonas Revensburg — Google review

Great for a two, three or four courses lunch. I really liked the cold Zucchini cream as a starter! A real inspiration for developing my own cooking! The wine cellar offered also a small bottle of Mersault that accompanied the food in a perfect way!

Pär Norén — Google review

A delicious set lunch at a reasonable price. A wine list capable of satisfying the most demanding clients. Excellent, unobtrusive service. Just what a restaurant should be.

Michael Kearney — Google review

I first visited the globe last year and am now staying for three months in the burgundy area. The globe has become a firm favourite to my wife and I.Firstly the food. We are both absolutely amazed that Chef has not learnt a Michelin star. The choice of ingredients, variety and sheer class of presentation is exceptionally worthy of at least a star! My wife is vegetarian and this is one of the few restaurants anywhere in the area that will naturally produce both a delicate and varied vegetarian menu. Despite eating the same menu over many weeks small variances both in the ingredients and flavouring have made each and every meal a delight for my wife. All the staff are exceptional particularly Mohammed who understands local Burgundian wines and has given some exceptional references. We will return and return and return. This is without a doubt a very notable venue in the beautiful Mersault and surrounding areaWell done to the entire Team

Le Bouchon is a restaurant that offers a variety of delicious dishes, such as green salad with goat cheese and honey, capri pizza, and chocolate mousse dessert. The owner, Mireille Bernards, has an engaging and welcoming personality. The food, wine, service, and atmosphere are all highly rated. It is also kid-friendly with the pizza being enjoyed by children. The 5-course dinner menu is worth trying but be prepared for a large amount of food.

The salad with goat cheese… so amazing! Great service too!

Brittany Gabelein — Google review

Very good, family owned restaurant. We had a light lunch but everything on the menu (and on other patrons tables) looked delicious. I think it is hard to get a table without reservation. We were lucky.

Laurent Brack — Google review

Sat outside for dinner. Good service, despite having just one waiter who was kept busy by the many patrons. Thanks for being so friendly and gracious. All four of us at our table had a great meal that rivaled and I would say exceeded the best we had experienced in Paris just a few days before. Excellent variety of choices on the menu, all delicious. Want to return!

A very good place for lunch. If you are on the cycle route, stop here for lunch. The 3 course lunch special is excellent and very good value too.

Alan Garrod — Google review

Food, wine, service, atmosphere all 5 stars. Kid friendly and our kids throughly enjoyed the pizza. 5 course dinner menu is well worth it, but bring your appetite because it's A LOT of food! Love this place.

Roderick Bennett — Google review

First time here was last night for green salad with goat cheese and honey before our capri pizza, and chocolate mouse dessert…all of which was delicious.Came back tonight for ravioli—spinach/ricotta cheese and also the truffle ravioli. Wow! Owner Mireille Bernard’s personality is engaging and welcoming.

The amiable owners and attentive staff provide excellent service, offering a diverse selection of local dishes and an extensive variety of wines. Les Arts is a popular establishment, so it is advisable to make reservations in advance.

Good simple county food with daily specials and friendly service. Nicely priced.

Two friends, my wife, our sons (4 and 2 years old) and I had dinner at Les Arts in Meursault (Côte de Beaune)! The restaurant is directly at the main square of Meursault. Both the owners and waiters were really nice and attentive. An adequate amount of local dishes and a large variety of vines is offered. The restaurant is quite popular and you should reserve a table in advance. One point is deducted as the portions are not too big and the prices are not that cheap. Nonetheless, we had a nice evening and we would go there for dinner again.

The Hotel du Centre is a delightful and attractive inn with a charming stone exterior. It offers six comfortable and relaxed rooms, as well as a pleasantly decorated restaurant. The restaurant serves a set menu of three delicious dishes at an exceptionally reasonable price of 20EU. The menu includes delectable options such as snails, poached eggs, veal kidneys, and beef cheeks.

Me and my husband really enjoyed staying at this little hotel. The rooms were large and clean and the staff were excellent. Further, the restaurant had great food. Highly recommend.

Saw us arriving on our bikes on a hot afternoon and locked their door shut. I understand places take a break in the afternoon but to lock us out so visibly and at an arbitrary time (4:21pm) is beyond rude. Don’t give this place your time or money, they don’t know the first thing about hospitality.

We only ate in the restaurant, which was very good, and has an amazing wine list, although many of the wines are still too young to be properly appreciated.
